The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Academy Recreation Fund, also known as the "PX", is located on the grounds of the California
Highway Patrol Academy in West Sacramento, California. The PX has provided equipment, gifts and apparel to CHP personnel since
1959.

The PX is a non-profit organization. PX proceeds are used to purchase recreational equipment at the CHP Academy.

Effective immediately, per Government Code Section 11013, the PX may only sell items to the following individuals:
- Active or retired employees of the CHP
- CHP Cadets
- All other academy students
